When shopping for nurses, look for items that can help them feel comfortable and appreciated, on or off the clock. Some items, like the NurseLuxe Gold Leather ID Holder, take a nurse’s work basic, and add a unique touch. Other gifts, like the "Nurse Off Duty" and "Warm and Heart-y" nurse gift boxes, give nurses the ingredients they need for cozy, restorative downtime.
No matter which gifts you shop, each of these items is sure to show the nurse in your life that she is appreciated.
1. NurseLuxe Gold Leather ID Holder
Made of 100% genuine leather, this gold badge holder is functional and fashionable. It has slots for credit cards and cash on one side, and on the other, it has a window for a nurse’s hospital ID. This badge holder is also easily clipped to a nurse’s uniform or badge reel. For a personal touch, NurseLuxe offers custom leather engraving.
A good read, a face mask, and a delectable dessert: what could make for a better night off the clock? The "Nurse Off Duty" box also includes Country Bathhouse's soothing pain relief warming body cream, a Deep Steep luxury soap bar made from coconut, argan and shea oils, and a beautiful, insulated wine tumbler that pairs best with a bottle of white and a bubble bath. Nothing says thank you to a nurse like the gift of relaxation - and this bundle of calming nurse gifts is the best way to say it.
It takes a lot of heart to be a nurse. This "Warm and Heart-y" nurse gift box recharges that loving energy that helps nurses provide essential care to others. A travel humidifier and Elements Truffles' turmeric hot chocolate blend soothes the body while an infinity scarf, Badge A-Peel Buttons and unique anatomical heart earrings bring some extra style to the uniform. This is the ideal gift box for those who are always putting others first.
Who says Pride is only one month of the year? Not NurseLuxe! Our "#NursePride" gift box is full of uplifting and affirming nurse gifts that are sure to bring a smile. These nurse gifts are all about taking pride in who they are, as well as what they do; the gift box features compression socks detailed with rainbow hearts that help bring comfort to long days spent standing, a sparkly rainbow stethoscope charm, and Okalan's dazzling rainbow eyeshadow palette, plus ground coffee from Uncommon Roasters, and citrusy hand sanitizer spray from Malicious Mermaid.
When they’re busy giving patients their all, it can be hard to remember to take time to just breathe. The "Up in the Air" nurse gift box shows them that you value both what they do and their well-being. Items like the muscle relief soak from LeTerre, Xpand laces and socks, and cold brew bean bags from Grady's Coffee help nurses make it through a crazy, breathless workday.
]]>This month, we took some time to remember and celebrate the anatomy of a nurse! Not just bones, muscles and tissues, but also the awesome ways, often imperceptible to the unaided eye, that being a nurse impacts someone to the core. After all, a nurse's anatomy has a few special features.
For example, a nurse's brain is always assessing patients for signs and symptoms.
A nurse's body is also more exposed to germs, since many are in Co-vid-impacted environments.
We don't want to spoil all of the contents of the Anatomy of a Nurse box here, but the prizes in this month's box are useful from head to toe, and also help brush up on the always-useful subject of anatomy!
]]>It seems so long ago that we first heard the words "novel coronavirus." It's almost hard to imagine a time when we weren't worried about test and PPE availability, back before gatherings should be 10 people, max.
Since Covid-19 began, the lives of medical professionals have become a blur. You're working like crazy to meet the demands of your state and community, whether that means handling the backlogs brought by Shelter in Place, continuing to work with smaller on-site staffs, or keeping completely crazy hours as your community sees new peaks.
There's only so much that we at NurseLuxe can do to lighten your incredibly heavy load, but you know we're going to try.
That's why this month is all about getting you what you need - what's essential! Some of these products focus on making your work life better, some are to pamper you at home, and it's all tied up in one sassy package.
Because, yup, you do deserve more than just a seven o' clock cheer - you deserve for everyone to know that you, your compassion, your dedication and your immense skill set is essential to all of us. It's essential AF!

]]>It's been a tumultuous month. Covid-19 is still raging, and in some areas, cases are even increasing. You're still working long hours to do your best daily for your patients and colleagues.
It was in the mindset of celebrating diversity and of bringing you some much-needed cheer that we chose the "Nurse Pride" theme for June. Pride, to us, means coming together to celebrate our differences, and to support the LGBTQ+ community. We figured the fun and sparkle of a rainbow-themed box couldn't hurt, either. Why not spruce up your work environments with some colorful expressions of joy?
After all, we at NurseLuxe founded this subscription box to be a supportive and fun product that uplifts nurses, the heroes who care for everyone in our community. Every month, we hope to lighten the burdens of nurses, if just a little bit, by bringing you fun, light-hearted and relaxing items.
We know that right now, we're facing a lot of challenges as a country. That's why we hope that this box reminds you, as a nurse, to be proud of who you are: your race, your gender identity, your profession, and the support that you unfailingly give to those in our community who need it most.
We're so proud to support our amazing nurses. Stay gorgeous, stay powerful, and keep on nursing.
]]>May is alway Nurse Appreciation Month, but there has never been a time when nurses have deserved more appreciation. In the past months, you’ve worked insane hours in environments that range from hectic at best, to downright unsafe at worst. You have maintained professionalism in the face of exhaustion, understaffing, pay freezes, and insufficient PPE. The world can’t repay you enough for your heroism.
At NurseLuxe, we know we can’t give you all of the thanks you deserve. All we can do is tell you that we see you.
We know that you’ve made huge sacrifices in order to heal your patients, comfort the sick and dying, and contain the most frightening pandemic of our lifetimes.
We’ve put together this month’s box knowing that a few light-hearted items can only do so much for people who are on the front line of a disaster. That said, we hope these items will lift your spirits, and that you’ll wear and use them with pride. they should inspire others around you to thank you for all that you do as a nurse!
So, here’s to you, Covid Warrior! We hope things are starting to look up, and that you’ve shepherded our country through the worst of this pandemic. We also know that you, the most essential of essential workers, will continue to fight for all of us as long as we need you.
Stay sane, stay gorgeous, and keep on nursing.
Love,
Mary Grace and the NurseLuxe Team

Baby, it’s cold outside! February can be a tough month. The holidays are over. Everyone’s back to focusing on work. Snow has turned to sludge, and we’re in the full-on winter doldrums. And maybe we just have bad circulation, but, especially in winter, our hands are always cold. Hospitals are often kept chilly, and OMG, don’t even get us started on grocery stores or movie theaters! Valentine’s Day reminds us, though, of all of the things that warm our heart, even when the rest of us is freezing. So, this month, let’s focus on the heartwarming, and appreciate the great people in our lives - whether they’re our colleagues, patients, SOs, or best friends. That’s why we’ve themed this month, “Cold Hands, Warm Heart.” The February box brings you tools to deal with the winter blahs. Some of the contents of this box physically warm up your hands, while others cheer you up with bright, heart-shaped fun! So, sure, sometimes you’ve got to rub your hands together (or wear gloves, or use a hand warmer) to avoid shocking people when you touch them! However, we’re pretty sure your patients can tell that you have a warm heart, during winter, and all year ‘round!
Love,
Mary Grace and the Team at NurseLuxe

]]>Sometimes, we get requests for special, themed boxes. One request we’ve gotten pretty often is a box that celebrates the road warrior of the nursing profession: the traveling nurse! These stalwart nurses have extra exhausting days, as they spend a lot of time on the go and in the car as they go between patients.
If you’re a traveling nurse, this is the box to make your life a little more fun, comfortable and easy. Of course, some nurses and nurse educators travel for work from time to time, and this box is for you, too! If you go between hospitals or find yourself on the road for conferences or medical trainings, this box should come in handy. And let’s be honest, even if you’re not a traveling nurse, you still have to commute like a champion. You get up, throw on your scrubs, doll up, caffeinate, and then spend some (often stressful) time in your car.
This box has everything you need to make the start of your days a little more awesome, whether it’s by making sure that your gigantic cup of coffee stays hot, helping you eat your drive-through snacks, or making it easier to take your homemade breakfast sandwich with you on the go.
So here’s to you, the lifesavers on the go, whether you’re a traveling nurse or the nurses who make the trek every day to the hospital or office. First, you drive to work, then you drink the coffee, and then you save the lives.
