Here in upstate New York, anyway, it's too darn hot for Irish coffee, but what better beverage for a caffeine-themed month? That's why, this month, we're featuring an iced Irish coffee for our drink of the month recipe, instead!
Iced Irish Coffee:
- 1/2 cup strong, cold black coffee
- 2 Tbsp simple syrup
- 3 Tbsp Irish whiskey (we used Bushmills)
- 2 Tbsp heavy whipping cream
Pour all of the ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake until ingredients are well-mixed and very cold, then strain into an ice-filled mason jar or highball glass.
Serves 1.
